Father Faces Murder Charge After His Baby Mama’s New Girlfriend Allegedly Pulled A Gun On Him

Avonte Teasley (32) was just trying to pick up his child when he got into a heated argument with his baby mama and her new girlfriend in Sacramento, California. The door cam footage shows the situation escalating until the new girlfriend allegedly pulls out her weapon first.

Forced to defend himself, his wife, and his child, Avonte drew his own gun, and a shootout erupted. He fatally shot the woman, and now he’s the one being charged with first-degree murder. His family is arguing that this was a clear case of self-defense and they’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign “Justice For Avonte,” to fight the charges… saying he was only trying to protect himself, his wife, and the child in his custody.
