UPS plane crashes near Louisville airport, emergency shelter-in-place issued
Multiple people were injured Tuesday after a UPS plane crashed near Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) in Kentucky.
The Louisville Metro Police Department confirmed its officers, along with multiple other agencies, are responding to reports of a plane crash near Fern Valley Road and Grade Lane, near the UPS Worldport.

Police said multiple people were injured. It is unclear if there were any fatalities.
“This is an active scene with fire and debris,” police wrote in an X post. “Stay away.”
The agency later issued an emergency shelter-in-place alert for all locations within five miles of the airport.
SDF confirmed the incident involved an aircraft and noted its airfield is closed.
UPS did not immediately respond to inquiries from FOX Business.
