A Black Substitute Teacher Was Kicked Out For Feeling Uncomfortable
A Black substitute teacher says he was using the staff restroom when a white teacher walked in and stood directly behind him, questioning who he was instead of waiting until he was done.
When the sub reported what happened and asked for the man’s name, the school sided with the white staff member — sending him home instead for “causing disruption.”
In the meeting, staff members defended the teacher’s actions, saying he was just “verifying” who was in the bathroom. But the sub says it was humiliating and uncomfortable — especially since it happened in a professional setting.
