Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s daughter savagely addresses her dad’s 10 other children
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey’s daughter Monroe took to social media to reveal how she feels about her other siblings. Despite starring in films and being a TV show host for a bunch of programs, Nick Cannon may best be known for his vast family.
In the last 14 years, he has welcomed a total of 12 children by six separate mothers. His first ex-wife Mariah Carey, Brittany Bell, Alyssa Scott, Abby De La Rosa, Bre Tiesi and LaNisha Cole. The names of the children are Monroe, Moroccan, Golden, Powerful, Zion, Zillion, Zen, Legendary Love, Onyx, Rise, Beautiful, and Halo.
Cannon has previously been open about his feelings fathering many children and even stated he is open to more, despite it being unconventional. Speaking to Dr. Laura Berman a few years ago, he explained his feelings on fatherhood saying: “You’re going to be a father of many. You’re a great influence, your lineage, your offspring are going to do great things.'”

His first daughter, 14-year-old Monroe recently took to Instagram to reveal her feelings towards having many siblings however. In an Instagram story on November 13, she wrote: “Clearing something up guys.
“I only have ONE brother who is Moroccan Cannon. I do have other half siblings from my dad but they are all many, many years younger than me.”
Monroe and Moroccan are twins that Cannon shares with his ex Carey. Monroe’s comments sparked an intense debate on the platform with many discussing the closeness of Cannon’s children as well as the significance of being half siblings verses full.
Cannon has previously praised his daughter for being ‘wise beyond her years’ and speaking to PEOPLE, he said ‘I got a lot of therapists, but she’s probably my best therapist,’ adding that she helped him get through difficult times.
Cannon continued: “She keeps me in check. She’s so pure and honest. […] She’s my oldest child. Even though they’re twins, she came out first and she lets everybody know it. She’s helped me keep it strong.”

Cannon has also previously admitted that the majority of his children were not planned and how big his family is now would have come as a surprise to him in his younger years.
He has said: “As much as I was open to every single child that I have, I can’t say the majority of them were planned.
“If you would have told me in 2012 when I was still married and just diagnosed with Lupus that 10 years from now… that I would have 12 children, I would be like f**k out of here! There’s no way in the world that I would ever plan that.”
