KARMELO ANTHONY RELEASED FROM JAIL AFTER HIS BOND WAS REDUCED FROM $1M TO $250K
According to reports, Karmelo Anthony, the 17-year-old Texas teen accused of fatally stabbing fellow student Austin Metcalf at a track meet, was released from jail Monday after a judge reduced his bond from $1 million to $250,000.
He’s now on house arrest with an ankle monitor and 24-hour adult supervision until his trial.
The stabbing reportedly occurred during a fight over a seat on April 2.
Anthony is facing a first-degree murder charge and had been held in Collin County Jail since the incident.
