Tyler Chambers, a white man from Riverview, FL, sparked national outrage after posting that he should’ve shot 9-year-old Sincere Shabazz—a Black girl who rang his doorbell selling candy.

In a deleted Facebook post, Chambers wrote, “You’re lucky we weren’t home to shoot your a** dumb b****.”

Her mother filed a police report and launched legal action, rejecting any private apology. Chambers and his wife are accused of lying online, claiming the child was part of a break-in.

Now, the mother’s petition for his arrest has over 1,000 signatures. The family no longer feels safe in their own neighborhood.
