Doctor’s Husband Who Left Daughter, 2, to Die In a Hot Car While He Played Video Games Heads to Hawaii For Family Vacation — As He Faces a Possible Death Sentence
A doctor’s husband, who let their 2-year-old daughter perish in a burning hot car while he played video games, is still with his wife.
According to reports from local media outlets, they are still going strong and will now go on a big trip as per reports from local media outlets.
37-year-old Christopher Scholtes is currently facing first-degree murder charges for the tragic death of his young child who is named Parker, after he left her to nap in the sweltering 190-degree heat last July.
However, the court just gave him the green light to take the vacation to Maui with his doctor wife Erika and their two surviving daughters.
Despite facing chilling charges for murder and a possible death sentence for rejecting the plea deal, the duo chose to stay united on this front, and prosecutors are now branding the death of their daughter as a homicide.
Scholtes reportedly left his car running with the AC on while he played video games. He is believed to have lost track of time, and that caused the vehicle to shut off and trap his daughter in the scorching heat.
