Elon Musk’s daughter responds to his ‘creepy’ tweet about Taylor Swift: ‘Heinous incel nonsense’
Elon Musk’s daughter has issued a scathing response to her father’s “creepy” post about Taylor Swift.
On Tuesday night (September 10), former United States President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris had their first presidential debate held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
After the end of the fiery 90-minute debate, the 34-year-old ‘Karma’ songstress took to her Instagram to publicly endorse the Democratic candidate.
“As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can…I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election,” Swift announced.
The ‘Love Story’ singer shared her statement alongside a picture of herself with her cat from her December TIME cover.
Speaking to her 284 million followers, she wrote that the 59-year-old would be the “warrior” to fight for the rights and causes she believes in.
“I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos,” she explained. “I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”
Swift also addressed AI-generated pictures shared by Trump that falsely depicted her and her fans endorsing his campaign for president.
“It really conjured up my fears around AI and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter,” she shared.
The Grammy-winning star then wrote that she did her “research” and encouraged her fans to do the same, before signing off with “Childless cat lady,” a reference to remarks made by Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance.
Following Swift’s endorsement, X owner Elon Musk took to the social media platform to send a “creepy” public message to the artist, writing: “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”
Many people were left disturbed by his response, including his trans daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson, who took to Instagram Threads to share her thoughts.
The 20-year-old wrote: “The timing for the Taylor Swift endorsement could not have been better. Can’t wait to see the Swifties at the polls! Vote blue,” before following the post up with commentary on her father’s unsettling message.
“Also, yes, I saw ‘the tweet’. Heinous incel nonsense is in fact heinous incel nonsense,” she said. “I don’t really have anything to add to it, it’s just abhorrent. That much is obvious and if you don’t see how then you’re part of the problem.”
She added: “I would just like to say to my audience members, don’t let people talk to you like that. It’s disgusting, it’s belittling, and incredibly sexist. You deserve better.”
Wilson, who became estranged from her father due to her transition, has become increasingly vocal this year following her father’s appearance on Jordan Peterson’s podcast.
During the podcast, the Space X founder remarked that his daughter had been “killed by the woke mind virus,” to which Wilson responded he is “desperate for attention and validation from an army of degenerate red-pilled incels and pick-mes who are quick to give it to him”.
She also said that the father-of-12 had been absent all her life and was a “serial adulterer” who had been hostile to her for being feminine.
“I think he was under the assumption that I wasn’t going to say anything and I would just let this go unchallenged,” she said, per Daily Beast. “Which I’m not going to do, because if you’re going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I’m not just gonna let that slide.”
