Robert De Niro’s Daughter Opens Up: “My Dad Never Stopped Supporting Me—He Just Wants Me to Be Me”

In a new interview, the 30-year-old shared that De Niro has been “nonstop” in his encouragement, saying he’s “happy for her” and proud that she is living her truth. She also said he’s met her boyfriend and told her, “You have somebody who loves you for you, and you don’t need to change yourself for anybody.”

Airyn described a recent therapy session where De Niro said, “There’s no other thing to do than accept your kid for who they are and where they decide to go in life.”

She added that her father has always been good at both “being a dad” and “accepting people from all walks of life,” saying his support should be the standard for parents everywhere.
